Columbus Welcome Management belongs to the Dr. Richard Group of Companies.
The company was founded in 1932 and was originally named Austrobus. When the offices in Prague, 1990 and Budapest, 1996 were founded, the name Welcome Touristic has been launched for all incoming activities. The company Imperial Tours has been bought in 1988 and handled Events, Incentives and Conventions.
Now these two successful brands merged and will operate under the new name COLUMBUS WELCOME MANAGEMENT as of January 1, 2010. This guarantees a solid financial background and immediate access to more than 700 coaches, four hotels, 35 travel agencies throughout Austria as well as additional three COLUMBUS WELCOME MANAGEMENT offices in Salzburg, Budapest and Prague.
